Production Manager

CreatorUp is a global leader in digital media training and digital content creation. Reporting to the Director of Production, the Production Manager will be responsible for the financial management as well as tracking and reporting on deadlines for projects. As well, additional responsibilities will include overseeing the adaptation of the CreatorUp Platform for productions and assisting with the strategy for that implementation. 

The Production Manager will support all internal and external productions to create cutting edge digital content with a focus on social impact as well as educational content and digital learning experiences that redefine audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for producers and internal stakeholders for all financial matters related to productions
  • Oversees onboarding for producers
  • Managing a team of Production Coordinators
  • Manages the budget process during all stages of production
  • Report on profitability of all productions on an ongoing basis 
  • Ensure each project’s profitability goals are met
  • Manages the internal production team’s cost tracking as well as freelancer cost management via credit card reconciliation tools (ie. Divvy)
  • Manage, maintain and approve timesheets and invoices for freelancers
  • Track and report on all production milestones and deadlines
  • Establish and maintain workflows to ensure production milestones are met
  • Learn and utilize the CreatorUp Platform to oversee all aspects of production
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategy for Platform adoption
  • Innovate with the CreatorUp Platform and Product team on milestone tracking, budget tracking, hiring and timecard integrations and ideate on other opportunities to automate workflows
  • Support the sourcing and hiring production of crews and talent
  • Train freelancers and stakeholders on CreatorUp’s best practices
  • Act as CreatorUp’s representative to outside partners and clients
  • Responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with clients, freelancers and external vendors as needed

Experience: 

  • 3-4 years of experience as a production coordinator at a studio or production company
  • 2+ years of on-set physical production experience
  • Knowledge of budgeting, payrolls, timesheets, and invoicing processes
  • Knowledge of the digital space and social content is a plus
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States

Reporting to the Head of Production, the Bidding Producer will be responsible for bidding on projects, coming up with fast content solutions, and creating budget templates for our platform. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will leverage your experience as a Bidding Producer to bid projects for a wide range of branded content projects
  • You will need to be a good researcher who can quickly determine accurate cost estimates for any line item
  • You’ll work with multiple teams across our organization including product, sales, creative, production, and post production to ensure your bids are competitive and creatively aligned
  • Working as a liaison between production and product teams in pricing new and existing production service products for the CreatorUp Marketplace.
  • Working with the sales, product, creative, production, and post-production teams across multiple projects to review and budget all potential options to be offered to the client
  • Provide complete and thorough bid estimates through the project lifecycle (pre-sales, development, production, etc) working closely with our Product, Platform, and Sales teams.
  • Continue generating iterations of scope throughout the project
  • Revise budgets as needed based on internal and client feedback
  • Provide an internal SOW summarizing all significant deal points to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Ensure working documents and data are maintained.
  • Work with creative producers, writers, and executives to align on what their vision is and how it informs the budget
  • Manage high volume of bids, many with tight turnarounds

Experience: 

  • Have a minimum 3 years of experience as a bidding and/or line producer on branded content
  • Have a minimum 2 years of experience in the digital space
  • Proficient in Movie Magic Budgeting and Excel
  • Be a superior multi-tasker
  • Able to balance independence and collaboration, and show passion for driving project and production goals
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of estimating techniques specific to digital production, including familiarity of animation pipelines and costs
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining continuity and for proper record keeping of the production unit’s daily progress
  • Ensure that footage can be cut together at the end of the filming day
  • Monitor every department and act as back up to ensure the script is followed during shooting
  • Note any changes made by actors, director or others during filming
  • Prepare end of day production reports for the production team
  • Maintain continuity logs for the day’s shooting and provide notes to the editorial staff

Experience:

This is a fast paced environment and we’re looking for the right candidate who has the experience and drive into this project.

Seeking an experienced PRESENTER with a great attitude to join CreatorUp’s network. Great communication, organizational and leadership skills required. The SME should have experience writing curriculum as well as being on-camera as talent for educational content. 

Applicants must be fluent in either Japanese or Arabic, as there will be two separate courses being created, one for Arabic and the other Japanese.

Responsibilities:

  • Support curriculum design and development from the conception to pre-production phases
  • Conduct research and collect and curate relevant learning resources
  • Regularly report to the project manager on the status of the curriculum
  • Collaborate with other curriculum development stakeholders to produce the video-based portion of the course including graphic designers, animators, and videographers
  • Craft measurable learning objectives
  • Outline curriculum, including content for asynchronous and synchronous sessions
  • Write scripts for the asynchronous video portion of the curriculum
  • Be the on-camera talent as the host/educator on camera instructing the learners about the language
    • This may require up to a week of being on set, in production at a studio
  • Conduct several rounds of quality control of edited video portion of the course and of the formatted facilitator guide

Experience:

This is a fast paced environment and we’re looking for the right candidate who has the experience and drive into this project. 

  • Excellent writing skills and native proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Arabic or Japanese
  • Ability to write in a range of different styles: academic, business, conversational, and technical

Local Producers (LP) handle logistics related to planning and execution for workshops delivered to ad agency clients of our client.  LPs work closely with local market client teams throughout the 8-10 week planning process to secure and train instructors, localize presentation content, schedule workshops and manage all aspects of the project.

 

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Native Local language speaker with English proficiency

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Planning

  • Orientation to program management and process documents
    • Review all docs and walk through procedures
  • Secure referrals for qualified instructor candidates from business network and other contacts/colleagues, LinkedIn, CreatorUp network
  • Search for 5 qualified instructor candidates
  • Confirm a total of four (4) instructors
    • Translate Instructor Scope and Outreach Email Comms as needed
    • Use project docs to gather profiles and information on candidates
    • Share list of potential instructors with CU once interest and availability is determined for review and approval
    • Screen approved candidates via calls and/or in-person interviews 
    • Once approved by CreatorUp, combine top candidates into new doc for client team approval
    • Meet with client POC to review potential instructors
      • Can be done via email
    • Confirm client approval of instructors
    • Send approvals to CU POC so that NDAs and contracts can be sent
    • Introduce approved instructors to Master Instructor for Training
    • Communicate logistical program information to instructors
  • Search for qualified facilitator candidates
  • Confirm a total of four (4) facilitators
  • Translation of program materials
    • Client team is in charge
    • Monitor progress
  • Handle adding of localized case studies, stats and other content assets to presentation deck
    • Client team will provide all assets
  • Orientation for Registration and RSVP monitoring
  • Become familiar with live online delivery platform (BlueJeans)

  • Take textbook content and/or content from a subject matter expert and translate that into lesson content to teach material to students
  • Act as on camera talent in a professional video production setting to relay lesson content to students in bite-sized lessons 
  • Work with the production company representatives to create and script out lesson content
