Position Overview

CreatorUp is seeking a highly motivated creative and technically skilled GenAI Video & Image Technician to support the development of AI-generated visual content across video, animation, marketing, branded storytelling, and digital media projects.

This role blends creative production, visual storytelling, and emerging AI workflows. The ideal candidate understands both the artistic and technical sides of AI-generated media and can transform creative direction into polished visual assets using modern generative AI tools.

The GenAI Video & Image Technician will collaborate closely with producers, creative directors, editors, designers, and video editors.

Key Responsibilities

AI Image & Video Generation

• Create high-quality AI-generated images and video content using tools such as:

  • Midjourney

  • Runway

  • Flow

  • Gemini

  • Stable Diffusion

  • Sora (if applicable)

  • ComfyUI workflows

• Develop cinematic visual concepts, mood frames, and style explorations.

• Generate visual assets that align with brand standards, storyboards, and creative briefs.

• Maintain consistency in character design, environments, lighting, and visual style across sequences.

Prompt Engineering & Workflow Development

• Write and refine prompts for image and video generation.

• Build repeatable AI workflows for scalable production pipelines.

• Experiment with emerging AI tools and techniques to improve efficiency and creative quality.

• Troubleshoot rendering issues, artifacts, and visual inconsistencies.

Video Production & Post-Production Support

• Assist in editing AI-generated footage into final deliverables.

• Support compositing, motion graphics, cleanup, upscaling, and color finishing workflows.

• Prepare assets for editors, animators, and VFX teams.

• Optimize deliverables for multiple formats including social, broadcast, presentation, and web.

Creative Collaboration

• Collaborate with creative teams to translate scripts, concepts, and storyboards into visual content.

• Participate in brainstorms and pitch development.

• Contribute visual references, style frames, and proof-of-concept animations.

• Stay informed on evolving AI trends, ethical considerations, and production best practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, lighting, and cinematic language.

• Experience with AI image and/or video generation tools.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially:

  • Adobe After Effects

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Adobe Photoshop

• Familiarity with motion design, editing, animation, or VFX workflows.

• Ability to manage multiple creative iterations quickly.

• Strong organizational and file management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in commercial production, advertising, branded content, or animation.

• Knowledge of:

  • Compositing workflows

  • Frame interpolation

  • Upscaling

  • Lip-sync or character animation tools

  • AI-assisted editing workflows

• Understanding of color grading and cinematic post-production pipelines.

• Experience with node-based workflows or local AI installations is a plus.
