CreatorUp Digital Media Club Offers Digital Media Training

When we presented our mobile video storytelling workshop at SXSWEdu this year for teachers of all backgrounds, we realized when people started streaming into the theatre at 9AM that everyone was excited and ready to learn about how to start telling stories by making videos on just their phones! But that was just the beginning of what we hope to offer teachers as we launch our Digital Media Club to offer teachers digital media training for their classroom.

The mission of CreatorUp is increase access to top quality creative education and training, empowering anyone, anywhere, to learn the skills they need to tell their story in the digital era – to be heard, and to be seen. We have heard from teachers and students everywhere who are in desperate need of basic digital media training and skills, and they need a fast, high quality, and effective solution to get them up to speed on everything from the basics of digital storytelling to use of equipment and social media.

Digital media literacy and digital literacy are now considered core competencies by the majority of employers. It is vital that educators are operating at the same pace and ahead of students in the classroom if they are going to prepare those same students with the 21st century life skills they will need to find jobs and work effectively in the new digital world.

Join our Digital Media Club

CreatorUp offers convenient and affordable digital storytelling and digital media training programs taught by the best in the entertainment business. This media literacy curriculum and digital media training curriculum can be customized according to any classroom and any level.

Teachers can access these courses on demand on their own time, or enroll in virtual and live training sessions to get hands on help with the problems and ideas they have for their own classroom on everything from how to more effectively create media for their own classroom, or even start their own digital media classes during or after school.

The CreatorUp Digital Media Club offers teachers and administrators the tools and resources they need to start their own digital media club for students to learn the fundamentals of digital storytelling.
